Average Cost:
Range is $1,400 to $16,595 per month with a median of $8,998.

Services Offered:

  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Medication reminders and management
  • Toileting assistance, if needed
  • Restaurant-style dining (typically in a central dining area that provides three meals a day)
  • Life enrichment programs (can include activities like game nights, pianists that play for residents, etc.)
  • Transportation services to grocery stores or religious services
  • Wellness programs
  • Caregiver on-site 24/7

Alzheimers Care Programs

Average Cost:
Varies depending upon the care setting but range is typically $3,800 to $14,200 per month.

Services Offered:

  • On-site caregiver 24/7
  • Staff trained to work with Alzheimer’s patients
  • Secure environment that may also provide reminders for residents to help them understand where they are at
  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Toileting assistance
  • Specialty meal plan and dining support for residents that need it
  • Life enrichment programs that fit within the resident’s current capabilities
  • Housekeeping, laundry
  • Transportation (can include trips to healthcare providers, etc.)

Home Care

Average Cost
$22 – $35 per hour with a median average of $27.50 per hour. It should be noted that this can vary greatly depending on how many hours and level of care your loved one needs.

  • Variety of life enrichment activities and outings
  • Housekeeping, laundry (may be an add-on service)
  • May include on-site amenities like a pool or barber salon

Residential Care Homes

Average Cost
Range in price from $2,000 – $4,500 for a shared room. A private room ranges from $2,800 – $15,500 with a median monthly cost of $9,150.

Services Offered:

  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)

  • Toileting assistance, if needed
  • Restaurant-style dining
